Markham's Taste of Asia Festival - June 29 and 30

tasteofasia_logo   On Saturday June 29 and Sunday June 30, the Taste of Asia festival will be held at the north side of Kennedy Rd. and Steeles Ave. in Markham, right beside the Pacific Mall. It is being billed as the largest Asian festival in Canada, with Kennedy Road being closed north of Steeles, and over 150 street vendors, live entertainment, auto show, kids rides and, of course, lots of food! Among the entertainers on the bill is Zhang Wei - "The Voice of China", who will be performing Saturday night along with a Korean Pop Show. There will also be a 3 on 3 street basketball tournament. Hours are from noon to midnight Saturday and noon to 6 pm Sunday.
