Clarington is a municipality in Durham Region, with a population of 100,000. It is the easternmost community in the Greater Toronto Area. It has an adundance of rural areas, including a large number of hamlets and villages. The largest communities are Bowmanville, Courtice, Newcastle and Orono. It also has a large number of farms, forested areas, orchards and conservation areas, making it an ideal place for families and recreation.
